October is AAC Awareness Month!

Every student deserves a voice and the opportunity to communicate! Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) includes tools and strategies that help students express their thoughts, needs, feelings, and ideas. Communication may look different for each student, but every voice matters. Together, we can create an inclusive environment where ALL students feel heard, valued, and supported! ❤️🖤

At RCES, every voice matters, and we are ALL IN for students!

Bus Transportation Information flyer for Ray Childers Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. Families should complete the Bus Transportation Form if their child is a new bus rider, the family has moved to a new address, or the child is a rising kindergarten student attending Ray Childers Elementary.

Families do not need to complete the form if their child rode a Ray Childers bus last school year and there are no transportation changes. Completing the form helps provide the correct bus number, pickup location, and drop-off information at Open House. Questions may be directed to Ms. Kanupp. Complete the form at tinyurl.com/37fpcd86. The flyer features a yellow school bus and red pirate mascot.

📚 **Kindergarten Registration is Underway!** 🎉

If you have a child starting kindergarten this year, there's still time to register! We are excited to welcome our newest Pirates as we prepare for the first day of school on **August 24**.

To help your child have a smooth and successful start, we encourage families to schedule a **DIAL screening** before school begins. This screening helps us get to know your child and ensures they are ready for a great kindergarten experience.

We can't wait to meet all of our new students and families and look forward to an amazing school year together! 💙🏴‍☠️

If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, please contact the school office. We're happy to help!
