Administration

It is my honor to serve as principal at Ray Childers Elementary School. This year is going to be a great one and I am excited about the opportunity to work alongside parents , staff, and community as we continue to lead and inspire the students of Ray Childers. I received my undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University and my graduate degree from Appalachian State University. I come to Ray Childers with over 20 years of service in education, with all of my time dedicated to Burke County Public Schools. I have previously served as an elementary classroom teacher for 14 years, an Elementary Instructional Coach for 3 years, and the remainder of my service has been in administration.
